Our Notre Dame Academy community welcomed Marilyn A. Tencza Ed.D. as 主要, in July of 2022.
With her extensive teaching and leadership roles in education, Dr. Tencza brings her love of and commitment to excellence in education to her alma mater. “I am ready to dedicate myself to the important work of leading our vibrant Catholic girls' academy, which is very close to my heart. As an alum of Notre Dame, my career has come full circle back to this very special and important place. With more than 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Tencza has served in the capacities of Superintendent, Curriculum Director, 主要, Assistant 主要, 和老师. Dr. Tencza has served as Adjunct Faculty at Boston College and Worcester State University, guiding new teachers. Her experience and success include guiding school accreditations, creating diversity and inclusion initiatives, and overseeing capital projects.
Dr. Tencza brings outstanding values-centered leadership skills, as well as a strong personal and professional commitment to educational excellence, diversity and inclusion, all-girls education, 和协作. “I have watched Notre Dame for many years with awe as the faculty and administration have developed creative new initiatives while continuing to challenge the students academically and personally.
